Still Cruzin'
Well, sometimes you can teach an old dog new tricks! Still Cruzin' is now over twenty plus years old, which makes them a dinosaur in
"band years". Like a dinosaur, they almost vanished some years ago when a few key members decided to leave in pursuit of other
interests. The tenacious core group lead by the popular and talented Johnny Brown and Tez Sherard refused to roll over and play dead.
Instead they reformed the group to be bigger and better than ever and made a transformation from pure Beach to a wide variety "Party
Band of the South"!

Early in the reformation they decided to add a live horn section; What a horn section this turned out to be! Marvin Koerber, Richard
Crocker and Greg Holbrook all combined are called the "hottest and tightest horn section in the South". Featuring former members of
"The Joe Pope Tams", "The Showmen", "Brass Tyme", "The Swingin' Medallions", "Northtower", and "The Fabulous Expressions". These
gentlemen bring over 100 years plus of ensemble and solo experience to the group. Still Cruzin' now in 2005 has "perked up" their horn
section even more with the addition of Greg Gallashaw playing trumpet and singing lead vocals.

Tez Sherard is one of the band's main driving forces and a truly dynamite drummer. Tez has his own unique style that is a mix of jazz /
jamin', ole school funk and robust R&B. His style is one that is more "laid back" and supports the other artist rather than dominating the
music. He follows in his father's footsteps who was an original member of the Still Cruzin' group. Tez's profound and electric voice keeps
the songs and announcements "popping" to a "high temp beat".

In 1995, at the age of 20, Tico Manley began taking guitar lessons from the late Bernard Sherard who was once a member of "Still Cruzin".
Being Bernard's protégé aided in molding Tico into a lead guitarist, rhythm player, and versatile musician; as well as helping develop his
ear. The hard work, dedication, and love of music instilled in him by Mr. Sherard inspired him to continue playing and studying music. He
made his first debut two months after beginning to take lessons. He started out playing only gospel music, but has broadened his horizons
by learning and playing other styles; such as: contemporary gospel, jazz, rhythm & blues, and country. He has played with well-known,
Stellar and Grammy Award winning artists: Canton Spirituals, Slim and the Supreme Angels, Doc McKenzie, Gospel Kenotes, and Donald
Lawrence & Tri-City. His musical talents have matured over the course of five years since he began studying musical theory. This
maturity is a direct product of his dedication to make time to practice; two or three hours before going to sleep and before starting a day of
teaching lessons. Tico is presently a full time guitar instructor teaching
students from ages seven and up. He is one of the youngest around using the Gibson 335 along with a Fender Stratocaster and a G&L
made on a Telacaster style. To achieve the sounds necessary for the styles of music Tico plays he uses Elixir strings, a Marshall
half-stack AVT 150 Amp head and a Crybaby Wah Wah pedal. Tico is truly looking forward to playing with Still Cruzin' in 2008.

Greg Holbrook masterfully plays the baritone sax and has a high tenor voice range that allows him to sing a large array of songs. His
classy stage showmanship is truly an asset that gives Still Cruzin' even more professionalism and dimension within the group. His warm
and genuine charisma charms the audiences as well as his front line electrifying dance steps. Greg plays the Bari Sax with
true passion that is not found often and certainly makes a "Top-Notch" addition to the style and sound of the "Commanding" Still Cruzin'
horn section.

Richard Crocker plays the tenor saxophone with great zeal. Richard comes from a diverse musical background and has performed with a
variety of groups and also plays with the "Fabulous Expressions". Richard's amazing saxophone expertise adds even more strength and
professionalism to the already "Hot Cruzin'" Horn Section. He also adds depth to the musical arrangements with
his background vocals.

Mike Jones started singing at a young age growing up in his church choir. Living in Atlanta he had the opportunity to perform with
numerous talented bands. From 1995-2006 Mike enjoyed performing and traveling with The Tams. Then Tams have many famous songs
including "Be Young, Be Foolish", "What Kind of Fool Do You Think I Am" and many more. He has performed on stage with the acclaimed
Temptations and The Drifters, just to name a few. Mike is not only an exceptional vocalist, he is also an entertainer who excels with dance
choreography. Thischoreography pumps high energy and showmanship into the show skits. Mike's excelling professionalism leaves the
audiences wanting more and leaving with memories that will be"Something To Talk About" for years to come. Mike's hobbies are writing,
recording, cooking and any outdoor activities. Mike believes that hard work and dedication along with guidance from the Lord and the will
to sacrifice are what it takes to make it in his profession. He truly is a wonderful front man for Still Cruzin, one of the south's best Party
Bands.

Alan Wilson, a native of Charlotte, NC, developed a passion for playing the piano at the age of two. Participating in various church
activities and musical concerts in the upstate, Alan is one of the most versatile musicians in the music industry today. Alan credits Milton
Bronson, Richard Smallwood and Walter Hawkins as being major influences throughout his musical career. Alan is now touring with The
Still Cruzin Band and provides an electrifying performance with each show! His keyboard wizardry sets the pace for the non-stop energy
and musical masterpieces that make"Still Cruzin" take their performances to the excellence level that will make your event truly
"Something To Talk About".

Marvin Koerber started his musical career at the young age of 7 years old growing up in a family of deeply rooted musicians. His
grandfather performed some with Lawrence Welk. Marvin stayed focused in his growing up years with a very dedicated training routine,
daily practicing and playing in many community & high school bands and symphony orchestras. During his college years Marvin had the
opportunity to perform with Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus, Carowinds, Opryland and the legendary Billy Joel. Over
Marvin's long term professional career he has shared the stage with many great performers such as: The Shirelles, Bill Pinkney and The
Original Drifters, J.D. Sumner and The Stamps, Percy Sledge, Ben E. King, The Impressions, Marie Osmond, Billy Joe Royal, Archie Bell
and Clifford Curry just to name a few. Marvin's multitalented musicianship and gracious camaraderie tantalizes the audiences and adds
great strength and depth to the dynamite "Cruzin Horn Section".

Johnny Brown is the original starting core member of the "Still Cruzin'" band. Johnny plays bass guitar as well as background vocals. His
love, patience and dedication to help mold "Still Cruzin'" into one of the "Hottest Show and Party Bands" has been his driving force since
the band's origination over twenty years ago. He prides himself in keeping the band on the "Cutting edge" of the newest musical
repertoires and instrumental technology. Johnny "lights up" like a Christmas tree each time "Still Cruzin'" "woo's" yet another audience
with their mesmerizing vocalists, commanding stage presence and dynamite musicians. Johnny is a true "Leader of the Pack" in all
senses of the phrase. Each day he gives his "all" to pushing the group to broader and new horizons. Johnny has performed with many
legends in his years in entertainment such as: Barbara Mandrell, T. Graham Brown, The Platters, Bill Pinkney and The Original Drifters,
The Impressions, Archie Bell, Percy Sledge, Nappy Brown, The Vogues, Mattie Winer and the late great Ricky Nelson just
to name a few. A true "Southern Gentleman", Johnny Brown our "Leader of The Pack"!!

Still Cruzin' has dynamic vocalists, multitalented entertainers, a phenomenal horn section and the driving force of the rhythm section
coalesce to result in an explosion of "Rhythm, Boogie, Beach, Funk, "up-tempo variety" and The Blues that is guaranteed to keep
everyone on the floor dancing and singing along with the superb vocal arrangements.

Still Cruzin' has earned the reputation as "The Party Band of the South". They are now one of the hottest show bands east of Las Vegas!
