| February 14, 2008 «Title» «FirstName» «LastName» «Company» «Address1» «City» «State» «PostalCode» Dear Artisan: The Marion FoxTrot Festival Committee invites you to participate in the 15th Annual Marion FoxTrot Festival scheduled for Saturday May 17, 2008, in beautiful historic downtown Marion. This is a one day event beginning at 9:00 a.m. All vendors must be packed up and off the street by 8:00 p.m. The day’s events will include a parade at 10:00 a.m. and a street dance/concert at 7:00 p.m. There will be a variety of entertainment scheduled throughout the day to include amusement rides, petting zoo, pony rides, food vendors, antique car and tractor show, helicopter rides and much more. We are inviting a variety of artisans and crafters plus local civic and church groups to be a part of this year's activities. Booth spaces with be 10' x 10', and the fee is $40.00 per space for applications received by April 15th. Should you need electrical hook-up, an additional $5.00 fee should be added to your booth space fee. The booth spaces will be chalked by 9:00 p.m. on Friday, May 16th. Be prepared to set up your tent on pavement as the artisans, crafters and food vendors will be on Main Street. Organizations and other non-profit groups will be set up in a grassy area. NOTE: All applications mailed after April 15th will need to include an additional $10 Civic, military, business, and church groups may have a booth for information only with free space. Fundraising activities are not allowed. Festival workers will be on site by 7:00 a.m. on Saturday morning to finish the last minute details and greet early arrivals. The Information Booth will be manned beginning at 7:00 a.m. and will be located in the street at the intersection of Main and Godbold. Vendors are asked to be set up by 9:00 a.m. Photographs submitted with your exhibitor application may be picked up at the Information Booth upon your arrival. Please return the enclosed Exhibitor Application Form with your check or money order made out to the Marion FoxTrot Festival as soon as possible. Application deadline is April 15th. You will receive a confirmation letter with more information about the festival along with your vehicle pass prior to the event.
